AIM WEEK July 09 

The AIM (Assessment Intervention Moving on) Project was established in January 2000 to develop multi-agency policies, procedures and practice guidance in respect of children and young people who display sexually harmful behaviour and their families. The Project initially worked across the ten local authorities and key agencies in Greater Manchester providing assessment and intervention materials, training, support and consultation to frontline practitioners working with this group. The Project in conjunction with AIM associates has converted AIM models/materials into a range of training courses. AIM WEEK 13 – 17 July 2009 has been designed to share with delegates our materials and training, as well as providing delegates working in this area with the opportunity to share practice issues and network

 Ø       13 July 2009 - Identifying and managing sexually harmful behaviour in education settings.  Cost:  £90 

Ø       13 July 2009 - Working with families whose children and young people display sexually harmful behaviour.  Cost:  £90

 Ø       13 & 14 July 2009 - AIM2 assessment for young males who display sexually harmful behaviour.  Cost  £220

 Ø       14 & 15 July 2009 - New Technologies, New Challenges: Addressing on line sexually harmful behaviours by children and young people.  Cost: £200 

Ø       14 July 2009 - Contacting victims of sexually harmful behaviour.  Cost:  £90 

Ø       14 & 15 July 2009 - Identifying and managing sexually harmful behaviour in residential settings.  Cost:  £180

 Ø       15 July 2009 - Sexually harmful behaviour and Restorative Justice – can there be a link?  Cost:  £90 

Ø       15, 16 & 17 July 2009 – Comprehensive assessment and interventions with young people who display sexually harmful behaviour.  Cost:  £270 

Ø       16 & 17 July 2009 – Assessment and interventions with children under 12 years who display sexually harmful behaviour.  Cost:  £220 

Ø       16 & 17 July 2009 – Assessment and interventions with young people who display sexually harmful behaviour and have a learning disability.  Cost:  £180
